I didn't get my run in today until 5:30 this afternoon. I had thought of running in Chino Hills State Park in the morning after reading this blog, but as happens probably too often, I was unaware of other schedules in the family. I went to Bonelli instead, only 5 minutes from home. I did the 5 mile loop on the south side of the park. I still got in a trail run with hills and enjoyed every step of it.
Miles this week: 40.2

I just have comment about how nice it must be to enjoy fairly consistent temps year around. The Chino Hills Park sound pretty cool.
Regarding your previous post, I used to live in Vancouver - both Van and Seattle are beautiful cities (Van more so). Congrats on signing up for Seattle. Maybe you'll have a chance to scoot across the border while you're there...only a 2 hr drive.
Nice Birthday Present. Are you going to look for the house you will retire in?
Darrell- that's great that you live so close to Bonelli. If I had the choice, I would definitely hit the trails for every run!
nice total for the week, darrell. getting that nice 5-miler in so close to your house was a great alternative :)
Bonelli looks nice too. I'm not familiar with that at all.. And close to home is always good - that's why I run in O'Neill park so much. 7-8 minutes away and that's by foot...
The rains really have done wonders for the local vegetation. The trails near the Rose Bowl got narrower in the weeks since I've run there, overrun by all sorts of greens, mostly weeds, though. The stream was flowing very nicely, too.
